A reasonable 'budget' hotel in good location. I've always found the rooms clean.

Helpful and friendly staff, Have stayed there twice before so am generally aware of pros and cons etc, Location is good for souks etc but is now noisier than I remember in the past, I guess you get what you pay for. Be aware of likely issues such as your toilet and sink not actually fixed to the wall and you'll be ok.

Very noisy at times often into the small hours, mainly due to groups of east European guests who behave as if they are the only people staying there. gathering on the terrace which is above rooms on the second floor, well lubricated and all shouting at once. I've stayed at the Hotel twice before but it was only when parties of Spanish teens were there that it was that bad. and that's saying something.

Comfy stay in the heart of Marrakesh

The room was very comfy, consisting of a bed, nice mirror a tine table that we really used to pop things on. A wardrobe (that we didn't use since it was super dusty and my partner is allergic to dustmites) blankets and *great* aircon. It was exactly what we needed as a base for an explorative holiday! Breakfast served was 1 boiled egg, 1 pastry, bread basket w/ jam, honey, cream cheese. It was served with coffee but I did see others drinking mint tea instead. All of the staff were really lovely.

The lighting in the room was really dim but, at the same time, could have benefited from a lamp for the evening. There was slight damp in the bathroom, but nothing problematic. It's so close to being of an 'English' standard if there was a little more attention to detail: smudged paint around the doorframes, nail sticking out in the bathroom wall, no bracket for the shower head but the fixings still there. Nothing that detracts away from a lovely stay, but prohibits it being a 10/10 stay.

It was close to the main square. Nice terrace. Palm in the middle of house.

It Is not hotel problem but consider it: Biggest issue is that it is close to the main square, we had windows to the street and noise from outside was very loud(motorbikes, people) till like 3am And ten again since 6am.. And also you hear the other guests, which Are loud.

Very Good

Calm and clean place just off Jemaa El-Fnaa Square. Friendly staff. Breakfast on the rooftop was nice. Shower water was hot and had good pressure. Beds were comfortable.

There was no toilet paper in the toilet, and no holder for the shower head. We would have loved to sit on the roof during the evening to play cards but it didn't seem possible...... fabulous space that is underutilised.

Great staff and location are the big plus of Hotel Cecil with the decent price.

- Location, literally 10m from the main square with easy access to the souk - Very helpful and friendly staff with taxis and directions

No water in the bathroom sink and shower head was broken, I also had to ask for a towel as not available in the too. Not convenient but minor things to raised compared to the positive points mentioning and still happy with my stay.

Cultural visit, shopping holiday and education on Moroccan spices.

The location is a step to the souks. Close to attraction like Bahia palace and Badi. Breakfast is good, sufficient for 1 person portion and fresh fruitjuice every day. Roof top breakfast was ideal to start the day. Very polite and friendly personnel. Reception is very helpful. Room is cute. Nice artwork typical of Morocco. Good hot water, bathroom clean. We had a 2nd floor accommodation, airy and luminous. Aircon works good. Hotel arranged our taxi to pick us up in the airport past midnight. First time in Marrakech, it was the best solution. Very hospitable!

The air conditioner worked well. Check in and check out were smooth. Friendly staff. Very close to Jemaa El Fna markets. Place is what you'd expect for the price.

Very basic breakfast (French bread, jam/honey, coffee with milk, orange juice, and occasionally hardboiled egg). Narrow winding staircase to get to rooms on first and second floors.

A positive first impression. The location is great, room was clean, spacious and ready, helpful staff and a good value for money. I had to leave before 8 am and the breakfast is usually served around that time, so the staff made sure that i have my breakfast before I leave and I was served before the other people.

Not sure if the AC and the TV work in the room because no remote control was there. I was a bit struggling with the Wifi in the room and had to move in the room for a better signal.

Wonderful

Very big hotel very close to the main square! The room was small for the four of us but it wasn’t a problem. Shared bathrooms are clean. There is a beautiful terrasse on which the breakfast is served.

Being that close to the main square also means you can hear the noise and music very late at night. It wasn’t very loud but it’s something to consider.

Comfortable room in the heart of Marrakech charming square

Great location right in the heart of everything. Breakfast was basic but with a good variety to satisfy every taste. The room was good with a very comfortable bed. Loved the palm tree in the courtyard and the birds.

No natural day light. Unfortunately there was a couple of very noisy groups during our stay chatting loudly from early morning.
